Born To Fly 

What I really liked about this story is that it is based on an actual person, John Pohe. He served in World War 2 trying to keep our country and his hometown safe. I also liked how he became a really good squadron leader as a pilot.

What I like about John Pohe is that he is Maori. What I really like about his personality is that he sacrificed himself for all of New Zealand in 1944. He was born in 1914 10 December in Whanganui.

Lockdown weekend

 Sometimes I like doing homework because I really like doing writing on my chrome. I really love doing reading and my favourite comic book's are Amulet chapter six and Amulet chapter four. My favourite Marvel comics are Thor, Ant Man, Captain Marvel, Spiderman, Captain America The Winter Soldier, iron man, The Avengers and more. Maths is my second favourite because I am really good at algebra and perimeters.

Reflections on term 2 goals

I did achieve my reading goal because I have been reading every day at home. Also I read chapter books like White fang, Goosebumps and Bad guys.

I did achieve my writing goal because I have been writing at home all day. Also I'm writing a story about ninjas and drummers  before I go to bed.

I did not achieve my seven and eights time tables because I never learnt them. But I only know my nine, ten, eleven, six, five, four, three, two and one time tables. 

What if we didn't have to go to school?

If we didn't have to go to school we wouldn't have any homework and reading. We would never have to do any spelling as well. We could just play on the school field or play my play station four.   Also I could play black Ops three and  watch YouTube on my play station four. I could watch the backpack kid that does the floss and play my grand auto 5 and do mods.

TOI TOI books

At school on the 7th of May 2018, we went into groups of 5 to read TOI TOI books. I was with Mandy and there was also Christa, Willie, Alike, Jacob, Jairus and me.

My favourite book was "My friend Dominic". I liked how Konzay wrote about his friend Dominic also if Dominic was here they would still be best friends.

My mum is cute

My mother always makes me breakfast in the morning. My mother tells me to brush my teeth every day and every night. She remembers to buy me some new clothes and new hats.

My mum is beautiful.

Reflection on Term one

Reading

My goal for reading is  to move up a level  and  to read my library books at home everyday. 

Achieved because I was reading everyday at the library with my Mum and Dad also with my older brother Jamaine

Maths

My goal for Maths is to learn my seven and eight time tables.

Not Achieved I did not Achieve my sevens and eights times tables because I don't learn them.

Writing
My goal for writing is to use  punctuation marks more often  and keep my book tidy.

Not Achieved my writing goal because I did not put much effort into it.

Two Truths and One Lie

In our reading group we have been reading a story about a boy named who said he was the best skateboarder in the school. Jamie made so many Excuses not to do tricks that everyone was not believing that he was the best. They were shocked to see that he couldn't do any of those tricks

Sam and Lucy

Driving Cars

A man was carrying a car along the street and Sam and Lucy told him to put it down and drive it. That's how people believe we started driving cars.

I think that this is false because cars a heavy and no one can lift up cars.

Apple Tree

A man was picking flowers and Sam and Lucy went to him and told him to stop picking the flowers so that the apples could grow. 

I think this is false because pigs can't talk to humans other wise humans will scream. Also apples don't grow from flowers.

Bus Stop

A man was sitting in his bus and Sam said to Lucy "My legs are tired" so they went in the bus but the bus driver said the bus is not going anywhere it is a bus stop.

I think this is false because pigs don't know how to sit on chairs.
